Thank you so much, Motogirl. Having just obtaining my full licence I'm now test riding bikes. Wore these leggings for the first time yesterday and test road three bikes. These leggings fit Perfectly and I felt like I'd owned them for ages - so comfy. I love them!! Plus they are very flattering!!
I will buy these again and again. And again. I freaking LOVE these leggings. The fit is great: they look really good (my husband likes these on me the best of all my Moto pants), and they are comfortable. The roomy front pockets carry all my stuff - iPhone X in a folio wallet case in the right pocket; folding comb, lip balm, small tube of sunscreen in the left pocket. Nothing in the back pockets*. I previously had GoGoGirl leggings, which were great except for two issues: 1. The Velcro at the knee armor pockets started to curl and scratch the hell out of me. I tried trimming the corners which helped, but only reduced the scratching (instead of eliminating it); and 2. The GoGoGirl leggings were so difficult to get on and off that literally I’d have to lie down and rest (in a pool of sweat) afterward. Sometimes the mere thought of putting them on made me choose to wear something else. The Motogirl zip leggings have NO VELCRO on the armor pockets - thank you a million times! - and therefore no scratching my legs! And the zips make donning and doffing SO. MUCH. EASIER. I am 5’3” and wear a US2, and after consulting the size chart and emailing Motogirl for advice, decided on a size UK6, petite length. They fit perfectly! I’m in Hawaii, so it’s a battle between being comfortable in the heat and being protected. The leggings somehow don’t cause me to overheat, and yet they protect me from the heat off my bike (Ducati Scrambler, which can get very hot - especially in traffic). However, it is warm here and I do sweat on every ride. I have 2 pair, and since they are so thick, they take about 4-5 days to completely air dry; so while one pair is drying, I’m wearing the other pair. Although I wash them inside-out every time, they have faded. So every once in a while I wash them right-side-out in Woolite Dark, and they get nice and black again. *If I had one gripe, it would be the rear pockets. On me, at least, they are extremely low - low enough that they look weird. I don’t dare put anything in the rear pockets for fear of drawing attention to them. I thought of removing them, but I figured it’s another protective layer between my ass and the asphalt, so I’ve left them alone. And over time, I have just stopped noticing.

Absolutely love my new Moto Girl zip leggings. Been trying to find a pair that fit snugly and just the right combination of warm (for cold days) but not too warm (for hot days) and weren't designed for 6' tall supermodels. I'm 5' 4" and a size 12 so chose the petite leg and it is perfect for my height. Snug and no bagging of excess leg material. The reviews for the non-zip leggings mention the slightly low waist and I agree it could do with being an inch or so higher in the body, as being on the bike it does sit a little lower than I'd like (but no gaping or builder's bum!) and on getting off I have to adjust them back to the right height (to avoid a slight saggy bum effect). I've added a belt because there are belt loops and overall they look really flattering. They arrived yesterday really nicely packaged and together with a nice note from Kirsten the packer plus a couple of bike stickers a parma violets, which was a charming touch. The leggings get their maiden voyage today on a 10-day Cornwall tour, teamed with Oxford Magdalene (DM style) boots andy trusty leather jacket. Rock and roll! Buy the leggings - you know you want to X
