Isla Black Jeans

I have the original MotoGirl leggings with the standard yellow armour, which have been great. Thought I’d treat myself to a new black pair and saw the Isla jeans. I wanted new trousers with D30 armour. I’m between a 14 and 16 on the high street for trousers. Waist 35 hips 45. Purchased size 16 and perfect. Gaped at the back of waist which is pretty much standard for me, however with the waist adjustment pulled in these are not bulky. Just back from my first ride in these and cannot fault. Good high rise and for me better with a belt too. Some stretch making these very comfortable both on and off bike. I wore with very thin under liner base layer and will wear the Isla jeans on their own in warmer weather - cooler than the originals for summer. Flattering I think for those of us in the slightly larger size. So many models show much smaller sizes and whilst they look great sometimes helpful to see in a larger size.

These jeans are lovely and light, great slim armour which i’d been looking for. Unfortunately the sizing lets them down. I’m a 12 and they were loose around my waist and hips. The fit around the calves and ankles is super tight, too tight to ride in. If they’d been an inch winder round the calf they would have been great. Maybe worth adding the calf size in the description. The search continues!

I’m so impressed with the customer service. My jeans had a fault so I called and another pair were sent out straight away with a return bag for the faulty pair. Such friendly staff.

As a tall woman, I’ve struggled for years to find motorcycle trousers that fit and are long enough. For years I’ve bought bigger sizes to get the length and use braces to keep them up! But the Isla Jeans are perfect. Longer leg length, High waisted and have adjustment to pull in tight meaning no more draft on your back and no more braces to hold them up 😁 Definitely recommend these jeans for any tall biker ladies.

These jeans are great as the armour is not intrusive and they look just like every day jeans! They are a good fit, although you do have to yank them up as the crotch seems to sit a bit low, or maybe it’s just me and my shape! They do only seem to have a little bit of stretch or give, so don’t rely on that. The tip on the website to order shorter was wise, I did and they sit just over my ankle, so perfect placement. Not sure if the zip will irritate in my boots as yet to wear them on the bike but hopefully a test run tomorrow. Motogirl always come up with quality stuff for us girls and I think they’ve done it again with these jeans… safety and feminine style! Nice!

Bought these to replace a pair from another company, recommended by a lady I met on the Dave Day weekend. Brilliant jeans, they fit really well & feel far more comfortable than the other ones.

Great jeans, really comfy and fit perfectly! The protectors are nice and light and don’t affect the fit. They look great with my boots too!

Having tried the ellie jeans and the Julia jeggings as well as other brands in shops I was beginning to lose hope that I would ever find a pair of riding jeans that 1) look and feel like normal jeans, and 2) fit me properly with protection in.

Enter: the Isla jeans. 14R.

They fit AMAZINGLY!! No bagging round the knees, figure hugging, high waisted (higher than the Ellie). I am normally a Long in any trouser (32 inch inseam) but followed motogirl recommendation to order a shorter length for going inside boots. I wouldn't know these were regular length, they sit perfectly at my ankle.

Protection isn't bulky at all and easy to insert into the pockets (and remove for ease of washing). There's a panelled area inseam for extra movement and comfort.

I couldn't be happier! You would never know these were riding jeans.

Just received my new jeans and they are so comfy.
I would recommend going up a size to allow for the hip protectors and room to bend comfortably.

These are great bike jeans, they look really good on as well. The armour is light and comfortable, the only problem I’ve had is they are tight across the knees and calves, I ordered a size 6 which is what I usually wear but have sent them back and ordered an 8 . Fingers crossed they will be fine

I ordered the new Isla Black Jeans in size 12R. I have to say these Jeans are OUTSTANDING!!!!!! they fit perfectly around my waist and hips with the new D30 Ghost knee and hip armour (which is a game changer) makes them feel much lighter to wear, it’s like there is no armour when there is, it’s AMAZING and I’m totally blown away at how fantastic they feel when I tried them on. I love how high waisted they are too, they are very flattering to wear. I can’t wait to ride in them. Thank you Motogirl, I’m definitely going to ordered the blue version too, but can we have more colours PLEASE, I’d love these in beige like the Lara cargos and a red too. By the way, I need a new wardrobe now!!!!!!! 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🏍️

So excited to receive the Isla black jeans. Taken me nearly 3 years to fine a great looking bike Jean that fits well and in all the right places.
