AAA-rated protective leggings praised for exceptional comfort and fit. Customers said they're "unbelievably comfortable" with "perfect leg length" and high waist. Most found sizing true to size, though some needed to size up. Concerns include fabric pilling after limited wear, inconsistent sizing for some, and mesh lining getting tangled. Protection proven in crashes. "Best motorcycle bottoms I have found."

I normally love Motogirl clothing, so I was expecting to love these leggings too. They're comfy, but having had them for less than a month and worn them only a few times the fabric is pilling really badly. There are also a few pulls in the fabric as well - they look years old already and really tatty.
Unfortunately when I emailed about this I was told that it's not considered a fault. Really disappointed in the quality for the price and also the response given to be honest. I may think twice about purchasing from now on.
Before I ordered these leggings, as they are an unusual item to buy, I took the time to measure myself according to the guidance on the website, something I would never do normally. On the basis of that I ordered a size 14. I am a size 14. I couldn't get the leggings past my knees, there is no way on earth they are a size 14. I have now had to pay £5 postage to return them and have the dilemma of if I decide to re-order. The quality of the products is clearly spot on, they are lovely and I really want to buy them but I am reluctant to re-order, I would say that I maybe need to go 2 sizes up but can't even be sure that will be right.
Hi Gill, we're sorry to hear about the sizing issues. We appreciate your feedback and understand how frustrating this must be. Our sizing calculator is usually spot on! Please feel free to contact us directly so we can assist you further with your re-order. We want you to be happy with your purchase and make sure you're kitted out correctly for future rides! What do we all want from bike gear, comfort and protection. Unfortunately or fortunately I ended up putting this gear to the test. Yes I crashed my motorbike going a little faster than I should have been, after being flipped with the bike then rolling and sliding approx 20m uphill I got up and walked away. The leggings puckered and frayed a little a small hole going through to the lining - my legs bruised but in tact. Getting ready to order another set but gonna try not to put them to the crash test again.
Love my leggings, I have two pairs and use the older pair for offroad even lol 😂 The have been through all weather imaginable, long kms and keep on going! Need a new pair!
Ordered long size 14. I am size 12/14. Fit well. A little tight behind knees for first ride out with them.
The material is quite nylon/shiny which will be why they don’t fade. Nice fit and comfy plus long enough I am 5’9”.
Good service and took a couple of days to arrive.
Bought for recent trip to the Alps as an AAA rated legging alongside the Sherrie jacket. Pluses: mesh lining helps keep you cool, good fit once in position, flattering shape. Minuses: have to buy separate attachment thingy and sew in to attach to the matching jacket, mesh lining fiddly to position and a little fragile - already slight rip near couple of armour pockets, knee and hip armour isn’t like the super flexible thin armour in the jacket means the knee armour was difficult to position and my knees were feeling the pressure after a couple of days, they fit great round my hips and bum but the waist felt quite loose. Having said all this, they do look good with the jacket - and because they’re high waisted, looked fine with a cropped vest in the interest of keeping cool.
Can't recommend MotoGirl and these leggings enough. They landed as quickly as expected after I ordered, and, as recommended I sized up (I ordered a 22 - my normal jean size is 18-20 dependant on brand and at 5' 6" I was ok with R length). I thought at first I'd ordered a bit too big, but after 14 days round Europe, I can honestly say they are the most comfy bike pants I've had. (Previously tried RST and Oxford) The armour sat where it was supposed to, I didn't get the back gap when riding (RST) and they didn't ride above my ankles (Oxford).
The waist band was stretchy enough to go over my ample arse, but didn't bag, even after a full day riding, and even when drenched they sat where they were supposed to.
They were pretty cool while riding in 30-33 degrees and I didn't need my base layer bottoms in the cooler parts, which were around 10-15 degrees.
I would absolutely buy again, but I'm hoping they last long enough that I don't have to for a while.
Oh - just a quick note - put your socks on AFTER you put them on, or they tend to get stuck on the lining!
Good, practical leggings.
Bought these leggings today so haven’t used them on a bike yet but can’t imagine them being anything but very comfortable. Having tried on different types of jeans and leggings in shops that do not cater just for women a friend told me about MotoGirl. I was so impressed. The different styles and more importantly the different sizes they have in stock was fantastic. No need to order my size in and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would always recommend.
Long fit, perfect leg length, love the high flexible waist band, knee protection in exactly the right place. Easy to get on and off. Look and feel great. Thankyou for a great pair of bike trousers for women.
I don’t usually write reviews, but these leggings are absolutely worth it. I was genuinely worried about the sizing, as women’s motorbike gear can be very hit-and-miss, but these are perfectly true to size. The fit is spot on, with an ideal inseam length(ordered Regular), and they’re unbelievably comfortable. I honestly can’t believe they’re AAA rated given how easy they are to wear, they feel more like everyday leggings than full protective gear. Overall, they’re just perfect and have completely exceeded my expectations.
So far so good but I've only worn them around the house. They're a great fit and so comfy
Absolutely love these riding pants and they are the only ones that I have purchased that fit me comfortably whilst I’m riding! I’ve purchased plenty of others that I simply don’t wear anymore. Love them
These leggings fit perfectly including with the armour. Extremely comfortable and flexible. Looking forward to the warmer weather and a summer road trip that will really test them.
They are great love the material, just wish they were a bit tighter around the ankle but would definitely recommend
AAA Rated
Very comfortable
Fully washable.
I've changed the knee armour to the ghost ones. So its less bulky.
True to size.
The leggings themselves are incredibly comfortable and the size guide is perfect! They fit so well, are stretchy, you don’t feel the wind through them and they keep you surprisingly dry all things considered. I’m amazed at the quality especially for the price. Worth every penny.
I had issues with delivery (fault of the postal service, not motogirl. I called motogirl and they immediately got on the phone waiting hours on hold to find out why they weren’t delivered. They refunded the next day shipping costs, ensured they were delivered the very next day and even offered to deliver them personally after work if they didn’t turn up again. Staff were so incredibly lovely and went above and beyond!
Would recommend to anyone who will listen
I am more than impressed with the quality and fit of the motogirl products. The buying process and communication was second to none thank you Motogirl finally some biking gear that fits and has a very good safety rating 👍
Amazing shot, great quality. Can’t wait for new arrivals
Perfect leggings for summer, great fit. Comfortable and correct sizing. Had a small issue with missing hip protectors but these were shipped and arrived very quickly. Look forward to wearing these. Thankyou
I’m new to biking and so pleased to have found Motogirl. These legging are true to their size, fit well and are really comfy
I’ve been riding a little while and tried all sorts of different brand “ladies” motorcycle gear. With mixed results- but one place I always come back to for my gear is MotoGirl. They just get it with ladies needs, shapes and sizes. Well done MotoGirl - keep going!
nice and high waisted don’t slip too much
Was looking for a stretchy riding legging for more flexibility and freedom. Women size fit men as well. Motogirl at Tonbridge gave great advise. Thank you.
Initially I bought a pair of Size 8 Petite but they were just too small once the hip armour was inserted. The legs felt marginally too short. I am slim and 5'2"
I contacted the company and requested an exchange which they agreed to without hesitation and included free return postage.
Their comms were great throughout the transaction and exchange. Once they confirmed receipt they sent out a pair of Size10 Petite which fitted perfectly with the hip armour.
Secondly the knee protectors don't dig in to the soft part if my knee below the kneecap which I have found with previous bike trousers.
The trousers have a nice elasticity and fit well while feeling tough and durable. Being AAA rated and not stiff as a board is a pleasant change.
My one suggestion would be to specify the inner leg measurement rather than petite/regular/large because, my impression, is that the leg length of the Petite in size 8 and size 10 is the same.
All in all a high quality product from a great company.
