Valerie Purple Leather Jacket

I bought this jacket as I’ve never had a leather bike jacket and also purple is my favourite colour. It arrived the day before we rode to Aviemore (from N Yorks) to Thunder in the Glen. We had all the weathers and the jacket performed brilliantly. Needed no bedding in at all. If only there were ‘Fiona’ purple and black trousers to match…. Hint hint! 😉 It arrived really well packaged and quickly as has other items that I’ve ordered from here. Thank you so much, I won’t be buying my gear from anyone else ♥️

The delivery as fast and well packed. The quality of the leather and colour is superb, the leather was soft and comfortable as soon as I put it so no worries about waiting for it to soften up. With the deep pockets and adjustable hip zips make for a lovely and practical jacket.

OMG This Jacket keeps giving. I have had my jacket for nearly two years now and it is still amazing. The leather is soft and supple but still hard wearing.

Such a gorgeous shade of purple. Very well made, removable lining, inside pocket and zipped outer pockets. Great quality. Quite stiff to begin with, but persevere as it’s worth it once bedded in.

I can't say how much value I placed on the personal customer service, and the jacket matched this. Great fit, warm, but cool enough riding in 20+ degrees. And I've been getting so many compliments.

I bought the purple one brand new and was so impressed with the quality I bought 2 more pre-owned. The yellow and red. These colours have the added advantage of helping to be seen rather than black where people can’t always see you riding along. The quality is superb plus they have the inner lining for Winter

I’ve had the Valerie jacket since it first came out. As soon as I saw it I had to have it!!! So few in beautiful purple. It’s soft, supple and comfortable. Very pleased with it.

Beautiful colour & design. I’d say this 3xl fits a size 16 uk perfectly. Collar is very high. Right up to neck line. The armour is light weight and you’re well protected.

I ordered this jacket on a Sunday and it had arrived by Wednesday (bank Holiday Monday so even more impressive).
The jacket is very well made, comfortable and fits perfectly.
It's looks great with my Ellie jeans.

This jacket is so comfortable and even has the inner lining for colder months. The leather is strong and gives good protection I can recommend buying one of these jackets. I have 2 now

The jacket is so well made the fit is perfect…cut for ladies , I’m a size 10 and the small is perfect, I got trousers at the same time , Motogirl are absolutely brilliant…quick service , really helpful with advice and I did a exchange with trousers that was so quick and easy …it’s how a business should be run …perfect all round …thank you.

The Valerie Leather jackets are beautifully made and fitted for the female form. I have tried other leather jackets but none have fitted me as well as the Valerie. I love the purple one so much that I also bought the black one. 💜🖤

I originally ordered the jacket in the XS, but as I have borderline stumpy arms and my body is pretty straight up and down, the fit wasn't quite right. I contacted the team at Motogirl, and they were happy for me to return the original jacket, and then make a new one fitted to my custom measurements, which was absolutely amazing. If you're a weird shape or you're unsure that one of the standard sizes is going to fit you, I highly recommend just contacting Motogirl to see how they can help.

The jacket itself is stunning; it seems even more vivid in real life than it does in the photos, an incredible deep purple, and zips onto Motogirl's leggings as well. Amazing to get something so damn cool with full protective specs and at such a high level of quality.

I admit the reason I bought this jacket was 80% it’s purple and 20% a decently priced protective leather jacket. But now that I have it and wear it 100% of my riding time I L O V E this jacket! I got a size medium and it is still roomy enough for a thin hoodie but not so big that I feel like I’m swimming in it when I remove the quilted liner and some of the armor. It’s perfect for my morning commute to work when it’s chillier yet I’m still comfortable in hotter weather. AND THE PURPLE. I get so many compliments because it’s purple and unique and looks attractive. I just ordered the Sherrie leggings and Rain jacket and pants from Motogirl UK and can’t wait. I found Motogirl via the Wind & Throttle site! So glad I did!

I got the purple jacket at the weekend for my b'day. Its fab love it 💜

There are so many good things to say about this jacket. I am 5'8 and a size 14/16 and the xl fits perfectly. The jacket sits lower than my hips even when sat down and the sleeves extend onto my hands even with my arm stretched out infront of me. The back of the jacket extends over my bum too.

It comes with back shoulder and elbow pads and has a quilted bodywarmer type inner lining. Both the lining and the back protection are removeable making it great to wear when not on your bike.

The wrist has a zip that opens the sleeve, not just revealing a pleat of lining, meaning you can adjust sleeved and fit your gloves up the sleeves. It also has 2 press studs for additional fitting on the wrist. The zips are a good size for fastening with gloves on.

The colour, it's purple, nothing more to say, gorgeous rich colour and a nice change from the standard black.

All in all an excellent quality jacket at an amazing price. The photo here doesn't do it justice. I could even be tempted to buy it in another colour.
