Bought this summer jacket to ride in Malaga it was brilliant just put a vest T-shirt underneath and I was cool riding all day

What a relief to have a jacket that protects me, but also keeps me cool. It's been a gid send after the last couple of hit days we have had. Being one if the larger ladies I went up a size so I can either put the Aura wind jacket underneath, or a sweater. I also wear the Motogirl leggings with the jacket as they are also nice a cool.
I can only recommend this to you all as the best thing out there for us ladies.

This jacket is just perfect for hot summer days and although I commute at 5:30am I have still be comfortable by adding a hoody underneath.
It’s lovely and flexible so I feel totally unrestricted when riding.

In the hot weather this jacket is wonderful. You can actually feel the breeze on you while still being protected. Comfortable and inside pocket is perfect for mobile.

Lovely Summer jacket, really comfortable and adjustable. Generous sizing, I could possibly have gone down a size (I’m a 12-14 and bought the 12, could possibly have gone for a 10!). The arms are a little bit long for me (I’m 5’4) but it’s not a problem. Four good-sized pockets so you don’t need a bag. Great ventilation so you can really feel the breeze as you ride on a hot day, yet fully armoured so you feel safe. I love it!

I absolutely love this jacket, it fits beautifully - and being a curvy girl it's been hard to find a jacket that doesn't squash my boobs, this not only fits my boobs, but also fits my hips and can be nipped in at the waist. How glorious to not feel like a sack of spuds!

She's definitely a summer jacket though! I think i rode up to September before having to switch out to a bulkier winter jacket.

I bought the additional armour and it fits great, no issues there at all.

Very grateful to finally find somewhere that makes kit for women.

Love this jacket so much! So comfy! The shipping was fast & its great to find a motorbike brand that you dont need to size up.

I have tested this jacket on almost 3000miles across Europe. From windy, plain fields to the Alps, it did everything from 35'C to rain. It definitely did its job in the heat. Of course, if it is that hot, you will still be boiling no matter what you wear. But if I compare it to previous trip with the same temperatures in all year jacket (without the winter layers obviously, vents open), I was certainly melting less. Both physically and mentally. :)
When it rained I just put my motogirl waterproof jacket on and laughed again.
It is a brilliant summer jacket. I was having a good look around before I bought it, and it came out with the best safety rating x price.
It fits well, but as it was described in one of the videos I watched before - it is slightly more narrow in the shoulders. So, if you are wider in shoulders, go a size up, because you can still adjust the waist and sleeves with the buckles.
I wear size S for normal clothes, got size XS for the jacket and it fits me just right. But I know if I would be an inch or two wider in shoulders the pads would bother me.
Overall, I felt well protected while not dying of overheating. :)

Lovely jacket. So comfortable. Used it for touring & it was perfect. Definitely only for summer use, it was a little cool on the chillier mornings. My only fault was the wrist size. I bought a 2xl as im a size 18. 5'4" & 14stone. I have to get hubby to pull zips down on sleeves as it's very tight over my alpine star gloves and I can't manage it. The gloves won't go over the outside.

Very happy with the jacket. Comfortable and true to size. I went up a size as I've always done that over the years being big busted but there was no need to

Absolutely love this jacket, wish I’d seen it at the start of summer, great adjustable fit, no restrictions when riding, was a perfect temperature with just a Moto shirt on under, but I’ve bought the wind liner to go over a base layer as it gets cooler.
Please make a winter version of this style!

I love it - feel is great fit is on generous side. I bought a size up to accommodate for sweatshirts on cooler summer days, but I need not have worried.
the jacket does exactly what it is supposed to do.
I now don't have to worry about going out in summer and can ditch my heavy leather.

This jacket is great on warmer days. Really smart look to it. Feels and fits great on. Very feminine but safe. The material lets lots of cool air in. Great product. Really pleased with my purchase. Great service from Motogirl as always

Bought this jacket from a stockist of MG clothing , have to say it is my go too jacket for summer . It let's the air circulate wonderfully , and I have also purchased the liner jacket that goes with it , both are perfect .
This Jodie jacket comes highly recommended, as I'm a bigger lady it fits perfect , no gapping or pressing on my girlies lol ,

The jacket looks and feels like great quality and is comfortable to ride in. I’ve added the back protector which as expected does cut down on the ventilation to some extent. The only request I have is to include hip expansion zippers for us pear shaped ladies - mine is tight on the hips but would be too big up top if I sized up.

I absolutely love this jacket. I cannot believe how effective it is for allowing the breeze through it yet it has armour and I feel safe and protected at the same time. It’s absolutely perfect for the summer. It fits like a dream and I feel feminine in it as it’s not big bulky or stiff. I highly recommend this jacket and really hope that Motogirl do a similar one in a winter jacket 🙏

Being a tall curvy female rider honestly it's a nightmare to find anything that fits and especially that is great value product. Ever since I bought this I am obsessed and been wearing it every day since. Great quality, great fit!
I'm size 14ish with big curves and size L fit me perfectly

Fits a treat, doesn't squash the puppies. More to the point its much more substantial than other summer mesh jackets so hopefully would do its job in the event of the worst. 😍
its doing a third of the pyrenees this summer. As a menopausal, well padded lady I was fearing the heat! Looking forward to it now. Ride safe

Bought this for touring in Spain but missing some basics that means its only good for shorter days out
Good points -
Good protection - the textile itself is far more sturdy than some of the mesh - airflow jackets out there - your not likely to be all over the road like a crayon in an off
Straps - gives a better fit across the waist and arms for comfort when riding
Bad points
Cuffs - cant get them to close over my lightest summer gloves - could do with being a bit wider
Air flow - tried in 28 degrees - air flow over arms was great (was wearing a t shirt - But down the front was non existent so had to have it half unzipped - or strip off to me bra
Back protector - your going to have to add this to the price
Liner - gutted about this - most mesh jackets come with a thin removeable liner - so for a decent long run when the temperature drops of an evening your going to need a liner or get cold or carry extra clothes, liners help stop the wind and the rain making for a great all rounder - lack of liner means this is only good for short day trips when your going out in the warm and coming back in the warm - not many days like that in the UK !

I bought the jacket a few weeks ago and I am not disappointed. It fits me perfectly. I ordered an xxl I am a normally a size 18 and 5' 9"tall. Its comfortable and lets in a good amount of air through the mesh. I can also fit a base layer under it if the weather turns cooler. A well as being a perfect fit it looks good too! Thankyou Motogirl.

This is an ideal jacket for the summer.It looks stylish and I love the British flag on the arm.I like the fact it comes with the option to fit a back protector and the fact it comes in plus sizes.I find that a lot of female motorcycle clothing only goes up to a size 18 which really limits your options.

I love this jacket! It looks awesome (please make a winter one with the same design... pretty please!) It has 2 inside pockets - gamechanger! The zips on the pockets are easy to do up and undo with gloves on. It has zipped sleeves to make it easier getting gloves on and off. It also has plenty of straps for those any fluctuations in weight .To top it off and the whole point is, it actually does keep you nice and cool!
The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is that after a week my pocket has a hole in it, all it carries is my glasses case so not even any sharp keys. That's a bit disappointing. Apart from that this is the perfect jacket :)

I bought an amazing summer motorbike jacket. I had to buy it as it was called Jodie…. Same as my name 🙈 (sad I know ) lol
But it’s soooo comfortable and fits like a glove.
The breeze flows through the mesh material it’s a game changer ❤️❤️❤️
